It started with the wrong grail
in my closet.

Here's the situation. I had a Daily Bugle sitting in my closet. Mint. Sealed. Never opened. The kind of box you check on every time you walk past it, just to make sure it's still perfect.

Meanwhile, I was hunting a Sanctum Sanctorum. Retired, of course — because the sets you want are always the ones they stop making. And every listing I found online was priced like it came with the actual Sorcerer Supreme inside.

So I'm sitting there with a grail somebody else is desperately searching for, while desperately searching for a grail somebody else is probably sitting on. And it hit me: why is there no good place for us to just... trade?

Somewhere out there was another AFOL with a Sanctum on a shelf who wanted a Bugle. We were made for each other. We just had no way to find each other.

That's Bricks For Trade. A marketplace built by an adult fan of LEGO, for adult fans of LEGO — where retired, vintage, and rare sets move between people who actually get it. Trade brick for brick. Sell for cash. Or mix both, because sometimes a straight swap needs a little cash on top and that's just how deals work.

No flippers burying the listings. No guessing whether the seller knows what "complete" means. Just collectors, building a trade history you can check, moving grails to the shelves where they belong.

Your next grail is in somebody's closet. Let's go find it.

The fine print
